The sale of 50/50 tickets returned to the matchday scene on Saturday past.
Of course with still no hospitality guests, the sales figures and subsequently the prize fund were down on what was regarded as normal pre-pandemic times.
However, Saturday’s lucky winner long time ‘Loons’ supporter Philip Nicoll headed home with a prize of £122.
The winning ticket number was 29343.
Thanks to all who purchased a ticket.
The 1984 Lounge re-opened for business at Saturday’s fixture and was particularly busy pre-match.
Again many thanks to the patrons who popped in before kick-off or after the final whistle to enjoy a refreshment and boost club funds into the bargain.
Most importantly a big thank you to the near 450 fans who gave the team excellent backing, although the end result was not quite as we had all hoped for.
We are now on our travels for three weeks, with relatively short jaunts to Kirkcaldy, Stirling and Cowdenbeath on the horizon prior to entertaining Albion Rovers on the 25th of September.
