Little did Jim Douglas know on Monday night that when he was checking the entries for this weeks Jackpot Draw with his fellow Lottery volunteers, that he would be leaving with the Jackpot Cheque himself. Discovered quite early on during the first check of the tickets, Jim then had to sit through the time taken to complete the first and then the second check to ensure he was the sole winner of the £2500. He also had to endure a fair bit of banter from the others around the table until he was confirmed as the only player to get all six numbers correct. Quite a week for ex-Firee Jim, as on Saturday he started assisting as a Match Day Host in the new Hospitality Complex at the Park, looking after the Kirrie Firemen.

Next week the Jackpot returns to £500 with players asked to get six numbers correct from twenty four to win the money. There are many agents around the Town only too willing to sell anyone a ticket, 50 % of which would go to their own Club funds. If you can't find an Agent, pop into the Toycastle in Castle Street where you can buy a ticket there and then. Or why not consider starting raising funds for your own Club or Organisation by selling Loons Lottery tickets. There are very few other easier ways of helping your Clubs finances.
