Single Goal defeat for Development Side

The ‘Loons’ Development side albeit with an under strength starting eleven on the night got back into competitive action on Monday night, going down 1-0 to Stirling Albion in an SPFL Development League East clash on the Forthbank Astro.

Callum McDonald’s first half strike for the ‘Binos’ was the difference between the sides at the end of the ninety minutes.

This leaves the Athies with only two league fixtures remaining.   The home game with Cowdenbeath scheduled for Tuesday of next week has been postponed due to the Fife club’s first team commitments, with no new date as yet confirmed.

The previously postponed match away to Berwick has been pencilled in for Wednesday April 11th.

No doubt one or two friendly fixtures will be arranged to keep the youngsters in trim in the interim.
