Loons Lottery Jackpot Winners

The Loons Lottery Jackpot had reached a grand total of £2500 when the weekly draw was made last Monday night.
The general feeling of all the volunteers who check the tickets each week was that tonight may be the night when someone was going to win this not inconsiderable sum. However one person did not win! Two winners emerged, each receiving a cheque for £1250.
Liz Andrews from Letham, pictured below receiving her cheque from Loons Director Dennis Fenton, is delighted with her win which will go towards her new dream kitchen. She enters the draw each week receiving her ticket from Agent Helen Hoy on behalf of the local Jubillee Court Sheltered Housing. The money that Helen from the "Loons", almost £1000 annually, going towards bus trips and a general comfort fund for the residents.
The second £1250 cheque went to Forfar resident Jessie Fairlie, a loyal Loons Lottery player who receives her weekly ticket from the Supporters Club. Still getting over her win she has no immediate plans for her windfall.
If you are a member of a club or organisation, the Loons Lottery is an easy and quick way to raise funds with very little work attached. Almost forty groups already do so and raise an annual total of approx £40,000 between them to assist with their finances.
