VERNA SCOOPS THE LOONS LOTTERY JACKPOT !!

Ali Newsagents in Castle Street is fast becoming the lucky place to get your Loons Lottery ticket when the second major prize in only three months was won from one of their tickets. Following on from Gordon Lairds £2500 win last November, the lucky winner of these weeks £3000 prize was Verna McKay. Verna popped into The Toy Castle to receive her big lottery win from Loons Director, Dennis Fenton. Buying her two tickets every week from Asif has certainly come up trumps, and she certainly intends to keep making her Saturday trip to Ali's Newsagents.

At the Lottery draw on Monday, at least five other players had five numbers correct, but only Verna had that elusive last number marked off.
