Scottish Cup Update

The Loons have received good news on the player availability front for Saturday's cup tie at Methil. Rangers have confirmed that on loan goalkeeper Scott Gallacher can play in the tie.   Word, however, is still awaited from Dundee United as to the availability of Dale Hilson for the third round meeting with the Fifers.

Michael Bolochoweckyj misses the tie as he has still to serve a one match Scottish Cup ban following his sending off, for deliberate handball, ironically playing for East Stirlingshire at Station Park in last season's second round tie.

If Saturday's third round tie at the New Bayview Stadium ends in a draw, the scheduled date for a replay would be Tuesday 30th November at Station Park with a 7.30 pm kick off.
