Saints defender moves to Station Park

Gary Bollan completed his second deadline day signing this evening when 21 year old central defender Gareth Rodger joined the ‘Loons’ for the remainder of the season, having negotiated his release from St. Johnstone.

Edinburgh based and a product of Hutchison Vale, Gareth had been at McDiarmid Park since July of 2010.

He had a stint on loan last season with Balllymena United in the Irish League and has also had spells on temporary transfer earlier in his career at Perth, with our neighbours Montrose and Brechin City.
