In a short pre-match ceremony in the Boardroom on Saturday past, Alastair Donald paid tribute to Doctor Sue Woodroffe who is stepping down from her role as Club Doctor after fifteen years of great service to the club.
He also thanked Sue’s husband Guy for his assistance over that period as well.
Alastair also made note in his speech of how Sue even when unavailable due to another commitment had always made sure that cover had been available for all competitive home fixtures.
On behalf of the club, he presented Sue with inscribed crystal wine glasses and flowers.
The club are still pursuing certain avenues in their attempt to find a replacement for the post, no easy task.
