Three of the club’s Development Squad have moved out on temporary transfers to gain regular Saturday game time. However all three will still be available for the ‘Loons’ SPFL Development League East fixtures.
Defender James Yates who spent part of last season on loan at Coupar Angus Juniors has moved up a couple of levels within the junior game to join East Super League outfit Broughty Athletic who have had an impressive start to their season under the stewardship of former Athies Keith Gibson and Stewart Petrie.
Eighteen year old Angus Mailer will sample life in the Lowland League with Stirling University. He made his debut for Shelley Kerr’s side in their 4-2 win at Selkirk yesterday. The move is an ideal one for the St. Madoes based youngster who is also to continue his studies at Stirling commencing in a couple of weeks time.
The third move is of a more localised nature with 18 year old Forfar based custodian Jason King joining Forfar Albion who have made a much more promising start to this campaign than in previous years.
