MATCH PREVIEW: Brechin City v Forfar Athletic

The ‘Loons’ make the short journey to Glebe Park tomorrow night to meet Brechin City in their opening encounter in Group A of the Betfred Cup.

City, one of three Championship clubs in the group following their play-off success in May began their campaign with a 3-0 defeat at Inverness on Saturday past while in the other game in the section, Falkirk defeated Stirling Albion 4-1.

Brechin though will have a few players returning to their squad tomorrow night following one match suspensions ruled them out at the Caledonian Stadium.

Gary Bollan is likely to include the vast majority of his new faces in the starting line-up, while he is still working on bringing one of two more players in to bolster the squad.

Referee for what will be the first clash between the sides since April of last year is Craig Napier.

Admission prices as they will be at all games in the group are Adults £10 Senior Citizens £5.   Under 16’s can gain free admission.

The kick-off is at 7.45p.m.
