Heading to Hampden – Allow extra time!
[Wednesday, 21 February 2018 20:06]
Supporters heading by car to this Saturday’s match against Queens Park at the National Stadium should note that there are to be major road works over the weekend on the Friarton Bridge with hold ups of at least fifteen minutes expected at peak times, maybe slightly more.
There are also road closures which have been ongoing for some time in the vicinity of Hampden Park as well.
These mean that you cannot access the Car Park/Stadium from the Aitkenhead Road/Toryglen side, traditionally the ‘Celtic’ end of the stadium.
Access can only be gained from the Mount Florida side of the stadium, traditionally the ‘Rangers’ end.
Diversion routes in the vicinity of Hampden are well sign posted.
