Team News – Arbroath – The ‘Lichties’ nine game unbeaten run came to an end in slightly surprising fashion at Alloa on Tuesday evening when they shipped five goals, although netting three themselves by the final whistle. Dick Campbell may decide to freshen his side up in the light of that defeat with Danny Denholm, Scott Martin and Ryan McCord and Ryan Wallace all in line for a starting berth.
Forfar Athletic – Manager Jim Weir will have to make at least two changes to the starting line up from the last time out in the 2-2 draw at Hampden two weeks back. Mark Millar is sidelined through injury, while Eddie Malone commences a three match suspension. This could mean a recall for the experienced defensive duo of Michael Travis and Andy Munro.
Summary – The ‘Loons’ will be desperate to break their duck for the season against their near neighbours having run them so close in the last two contests between the sides as the business end of the season looms, with the Gayfield clash the beginning of a testing week for the Station Park squad.
