Albion Rovers v Forfar Athletic

The ‘Loons’ will return to cinch league2 action on Saturday first with their first visit since April of 2018 to Cliftonhill to face Albion Rovers.

Gary Irvine and his players will be all out to return to winning ways following their cup tie reverese and consolidate their second place in the league table.

In the first fixture between the sides this term, the Athies ran out 3-1 winners at Station Park in late September.

Saturday’s fixture will have the usual 3 pm kick-off.

Once again Forfar fans turned out in great numbers to support Ross and his colleagues at Gayfield, this despite blockages on both the main routes from Forfar to the coast following Friday night’s storm.
