Play-Off Semi Final Dates

Following Saturday’s emphatic victory over Annan Athletic, we now know that it is the Galabank outfit that we will face in the League One Play-Off Semi-Finals.

The clubs, therefore, took the opportunity on Saturday to firm up dates for the two-legged tie.

Subject to SPFL approval which is a certainty in the circumstances, the first leg will take place on Tuesday, May 3^rd with a 7.45 p.m. kick-off with the second leg scheduled for the following Saturday afternoon.

Two dates for your diary.

The team that eventually finishes in third place in the table will be at home on the Tuesday evening.

A reminder that the ‘Loons’ currently sit in that third place, but now are only one point behind Annan and we do have a superior goal difference.

A further reminder that the Athies' final two fixtures are away to Kelty Hearts on Saturday first, followed by a home clash with Stenhousemuir on the 30^th of the month.

Annan head to Ainslie Park on Friday night of this week to face fourth-placed Edinburgh City, prior to a final-day visit from champions Kelty.

A final footnote.    If Forfar were to clinch that runners-up spot and it’s a big if and with it a Saturday second leg home game on May 7^th, hospitality packages would be available.
