Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic v Forfar Athletic
[Monday, 13 February 2023 14:51]
After a home doubleheader which yielded a four-point haul the ‘Loons’ head to New Dundas Park in Bonnyrigg on Saturday first to fulfil the first of eight remaining away cinch league2 fixtures.
Their opponents managed of course by former Forfar stalwart Robbie Horn have a home midweek fixture against Stirling Albion to play before they prepare for the visit of the Athies, but they will go into the game against the ‘Binos’ on Tuesday in good heart after a last-minute goal at Stranraer on Saturday past secured a 1-0 win.
That victory saw them move to within one point of Albion Rovers at the foot of the table.
The ‘Loons’ lost 2-0 on their previous meeting in Midlothian on the season’s opening day, a 1-1 draw the end result at Station Park in November in a match which marked Ray McKinnon’s managerial debut with the Athies.
A lot has changed in the ensuing twelve weeks.
