Thanks Again

It was great to get back into action on home ‘soil’ yesterday afternoon and the ‘Loons’ picked up a deserved three points against Annan, especially following a dominant second half performance.
A slightly disappointing feature on the day was the attendance numbers which were back to pre-Christmas figures.
However, there was little or no away support evident and hopefully, numbers will increase again for the vital three home games remaining in the run into the conclusion of the league campaign.
Importantly thanks to all ‘Loons’ fans who were in attendance yesterday and thankfully were rewarded with yet again an entertaining ninety minutes.
Thank you as well to Club Chairman Scott Murdie and partner Lesley who were the match sponsors.
Their party of family and friends all it appeared thoroughly enjoyed their day.
The returning Roberto Nditi was their choice as the Man of the Match.
Thanks also to hospitality complex guests Peter Drummond, Bill Pitt, Dave Simpson and Carl Valentine for their support.
Their guests and friends all it appeared had a great afternoon and early evening within their respective lounges.
Finally thanks to Jacqui Durward and her colleagues for their support of the 1984 Lounge package.
In just over 48 hours the Athies players will be back in action at Forthbank Stadium in the first of two midweek away fixtures due alongside a Saturday jaunt to Stenhousemuir before Albion Rovers visit Station Park on April 1st.
C’mon the ‘Loons’.
