Thanks Again
[Sunday, 05 November 2023 11:13]
One cannot disguise the fact that it was another disappointing end result for the ‘Loons’ at the Alpha Projects Stadium at Station Park yesterday afternoon in front of a respectable crowd of 547.
Thanks to all who came along to lend their support to the home side’s cause.
Our match sponsor for the visit of the ‘Warriors’ was Alpha Projects Ltd who are as all realise these days superb backers of the Forfar Athletic cause.
Thanks again to Paul, Kevin, and fellow Directors for their great support, not only yesterday but throughout the campaign.
Their group chose Stuart Morrison the Loons goal scorer as their Man of the Match. Gary Ovenstone a guest of Alpha is pictured presenting Stuart with is award.
It was return visits all around in the hospitality lounges on the day.
Thanks to Barry Carnegie, Grant Farquharson, Lee Hutcheon, and Kevin Milne for organising the various parties and to all concerned for their most welcome support.
Despite the result, all seemed as ever to enjoy their day with us which of course of great importance to the ‘Loons’ officials.
A word of thanks in closing to Russell Todd and his mates who were boardroom guests, taking advantage of a package that they very generously purchased in the auction at the Sportsman’s Dinner back in June.
In this regard thanks also to Graeme Campbell at the Stag Hotel for the provision of their pre-match meal.
Onwards and hopefully upwards with a now vital second home game on the bounce, this coming Saturday when Clyde are the visitors to the ‘toonie.’
