Forfar Athletic v Stranraer
[Tuesday, 28 November 2023 14:27]
After the excitement of the cup win at Tranent and the subsequent fourth round draw which brought with it a home tie with Premiership Hibernian, it is back to ‘cauld claes and porridge’ this Saturday for the ‘Loons’ when they welcome Stranraer to Station Park on match day 14 of the cinch league2 campaign.
The Athies have already recorded a victory over their visitors this season, the 2-0 success at Stair Park in September, one of two three point hauls accrued to date.
The Stair Park outfit currently sit two points above Forfar in the table, having lost their last two league games, also exiting the national tournament on Saturday past on home soil, a first half counter securing a solitary goal success for championship opponents Airdrieonians.
This is the first of what will be three home games in December for the ‘Loons’ and the players will be going into the game keen to secure that so far elusive first home league success.
Saturday’s game will have the usual 3p.m. kick-off.
Admission prices are as follows;-
Stand – Adults £15, concessions £9, under 16’s £5
