Forfar Athletic v Clyde
[Tuesday, 05 March 2024 12:26]
Clyde are the visitors to the Alpha Projects Stadium @Station Park on Saturday first for yet another ‘vital’ cinch league2 fixture for both sides.
The ‘Loons’ currently sit seven points clear of the ‘Bully Wee’ in the league table, but like Ray McKinnon’s side, Ian McCall’s outfit have been in more than reasonable form in recent times.
In fact the 2-0 defeat inflicted on them by the Athies at New Douglas Park two weeks back courtesy of goals from Stuart Morrison and Russell McLean is the only blot on the Clyde ‘copybook’ in their last four outings. Despite those three successes they will still occupy bottom spot in the table going into Saturday’s eagerly anticipated encounter.
However on the back of these results, our visitors on Saturday are likely to bring a vocal and substantial travelling support to back them, hopefully the recent upward trend since the Hibernian cup tie in home support numbers will also be sustained.
Saturday’s contest has the usual 3p.m. kick-off.
Admission prices are as follows;-
Stand – Adults £15, concessions £9, under 16’s £5
Terracing - Adults £14, concessions £8, under 16’s £5
Payment is by cash at the turnstile only.
Forfar Athletic season tickets are of course valid for this fixture.
The Refreshment Kiosk and Club Shop both situated within the ground will be open as usual.
The 1984 Lounge will be open to all supporters from 12.30p.m. till kick-off and again on the final whistle till approximately 8p.m.
