KDM Evolution Trophy – Match Day 2

A reminder to Forfar Athletic supporters that the second phase of qualifying fixtures in the KDM Evolution Trophy, formerly known as the Challenge Cup will take place next midweek.

That means local derby action for the ‘Loons’ and a trip to Links Park to face Montrose on Tuesday, 26th August, the first of our three games at this stage of the revamped competition against William Hill League1 opponents.

The match against Stewart Petrie’s side will have the normal 7.45pm kick-off and we are delighted to advise that both sides have agreed that normal admission prices will be reduced for the cup tie clash.

Adult admission on the night will be only £10 with concessions £5.

Tickets will be available to purchase in advance of the fixture within the next few days which is the preferred method at Montrose, full details to be published on Montrose’s social media channels.

However they will also be available prior to kick-off on the Tuesday night from the ticket office at Links Park.

Following the clash with the ‘Gable Endies’ the ‘Loons’ will have a further four games to play at the qualifying stage, a reminder of the dates, venues and opposition below;-

Saturday 6th September - Dundee ‘B’ - home
Tuesday 23rd September - Aberdeen ‘B’ - home
Saturday 11th October - Inverness Caledonian Thistle - home
Tuesday 11th November - Cove Rangers - away
