Friendly match defeat for ‘Loons’

The vast majority of the Forfar Athletic squad got a runout and with it following the postponement of the Clyde fixture, valuable game time in a friendly against a relatively strong Dundee outfit at Station Park last night.
The Dens Park side recorded a 3-0 victory courtesy of three quickfire goals within a 12 minute period in the first half.
Steven Anderson made his much-anticipated return to action playing the first hour of the contest.
Having played second fiddle to the visitors in the first 45, the home side made a better shift of it in the second period, but still had Daniel Hoban to thank for keeping the final tally for the visitors at three, the sub keeper bringing of an excellent penalty save in the dying embers of the contest.
