Friendly Match Run Out for ‘Loons’

‘Loons’  manager Stuart Malcolm gave twenty players including three trialists some game time in a friendly fixture against Downfield Juniors at Station Park last night.

The home side ran out 3-0 winners at the end of the ninety minutes, all the goals coming in the last fifteen minutes of the contest.

Former Station Park custodian Grant Adam produced a string of fine saves for the ‘Spiders’ before he was finally beaten by a Florent Hoti strike which took a wicked deflection on its way into the net.

The same player netted goal number two just minutes later, John Robertson the scorer of the home side’s third counter.
