Late winner for ‘Loons’ in Derby Friendly

A goal from Murray MacKintosh in the third minute of added-on time clinched a 3-2 win for the home side against Brechin City in a friendly fixture at Station Park last night.

Stuart Malcolm utilised a squad of nineteen players over the ninety minutes including five trialists.

The visitors took the lead midway through the first period, but by half time goals from Jordan Allan and Florent Hoti with a stunning free-kick from 22 yards out had secured a single goal advantage for the home side.

City proceeded to net what was a deserved second-half equaliser, before Murray’s slotted home the winner with a shot from the edge of the box.
