Our final pre-season fixture ended in a narrow defeat at Station Park last night. 

A first-half own goal by Forfar defender Roberto Nditi and a first goal for the Loons by Ben Armour saw the sides go in level at the break.  

The Huskies No 11 Nick Scardina scored a late winner.

It was a pleasure to host the team from the University of Washington who represented their institution very well. Thank you for the gift of shirts to some of the young home fans. These were very much appreciated and the squad has made a lot of new Scottish fans! 

The Loon's next match is, of course, the first competitive fixture of the new season - an away match vs Queen's Park on Tuesday 12 July. Please note this match will be played at Ochilview Stadium in Stenhousemuir. Admission details to follow.
