Ladies Dinner hits all the right ‘spots.’

The club’s Annual Ladies Dinner in the Reid Hall last night was another night to remember.
Hopefully the 240 ladies present are able this morning to remember it!!!
Following an excellent meal, with entertainment provided by the Singing Waiters, the ladies present were then well entertained by former school teacher Jack Knight and Sheriff Lindsay Wood, the latter fully meriting his standing ovation at the end of thirty minutes of superb stories and anecdotes.
Cabaret took over in the second half of the proceedings with music and song provided by the Soul Kings.
The raffle, auction and other fund raising ventures on the night were well supported and it appeared as if everyone quite literally ‘had a ball.’
The Directors of Forfar Athletic FC would like to thank all those who attended and made the night the success it was.
Thanks are also extended to the Kirriemuir Dental Practice, Bowman Property, James F. Stephen, Tayside Property Online and Gordon Dobbie Heating & Plumbing who were joint sponsors of the evening.
Finally a debt of gratitude and thanks are extended to the organising committee of Fiona Cameron, Lesley Deas, Fiona Smith and Jacqui Williamson for all their hard work over the past few months.
Their reward would undoubtedly have come with the success of the evening and the substantial boost it brought to the ‘Loons’ coffers.
