Team News – Forfar Athletic – Andy Munro returns to the ‘Loons’ squad after his four month loan spell with Clyde while Jim Weir will also have Dylan Easton available after he served a one match suspension last weekend. Michael Kennedy, Murray MacKintosh and Marc Scott are all still ruled out through injury.
Albion Rovers – Rovers Manager Brian Kerr has added goalkeeper Kieran Wright from Rangers to his pool following the opening of the registration window. The Rovers squad is likely to be along similar lines to last Saturday when many felt they were unlucky to go down 3-1 at Alloa, their goal scorer on that occasion Joao Victoria.
Summary – No one at Station Park needs reminding that this match is the beginning of what on paper looks a vital run of games for the club in their fight to maintain League 1 status. A similar gutsy performance as was witnessed at Cliftonhill in November when the visitors triumphed by the odd goal in seven will be required. Former Brechin striker Alan Trouten is the danger man this term for the Coatbridge outfit.
