Team News – East Fife – The Fifers will be reeling from their cup defeat at home last Saturday to Highland League outfit Brora Rangers. Craig Thomson signed on the eve of that game from St. Johnstone and subsequently a second half sub in the tie, could well find a starting berth this time round. Chris Duggan who had a spell a few years back on loan at Station Park is the front man to watch in Darren Young’s side.
Forfar Athletic – The ‘Loons’ will obviously go into the game minus the services of the transferred David Cox, while suspension again bites with Mark Millar sitting this game out having picked up his sixth yellow card of the season in the Albion Rovers match two weeks back. Dale Hilson is still an injury doubt, alongside long term victims Marc Scott and Michael Kennedy. On the plus side Murray MacKintosh has played in both friendly’s in the past week against Aberdeen and Dundee Colts and will probably find a place on the bench. Jim Weir also still hopes to have a new face in the squad come 3p.m. on Saturday.
Summary – A vital away day for the Station Park outfit. Can they build on their home win over Albion Rovers last time out?
