Loons snap up experienced defender

Forfar Athletic tonight completed the signing of Bernard Coll, a 25-year-old left-sided full-back from East Kilbride.

A nominal fee was involved.

BJ, as he is known, has been with the Lowland League outfit since 2014, moving at the time from Queens Park.

The player is, of course, a familiar face to Stuart Malcolm through the ‘Kilby’ connection and he goes straight into the ‘Loons’ squad for Saturday’s visit to Falkirk.

There was also a departure from Station Park tonight as the manager continues to re-model his squad for the run-in.

Sean Burns signed last close season has been released by mutual agreement and leaves with the best wishes of all for his future.
