Chris Antoniazzi – ‘Loons’ latest recruit

Forfar Athletic manager Stuart Malcolm this morning completed the signing of former Aberdeen midfield player Chris Antoniazzi on a one year deal, his fourth close-season signing to date.

Chris was part of the ‘Dons’ academy system from primary school age, before joining a similar set up with Celtic in 2014.

He returned to the Pittodrie ranks two years later signing his first professional contract.

During the ensuing four years, Chris had spells on loan at Montrose for the duration of the 2018/19 season and with Cove Rangers in the first half of the last term, making 39 league and cup appearances in total.

Chris who is a native of the Granite City became one of a number of the Aberdeen Development/Reserve team squad to be released at the end of May and the Station Park management team are delighted to have got him on board.
