‘Loons’ manager Stuart Malcolm has completed his seventh summer signing with former Celtic midfield player Mark Hill re-joining the club on a two-year deal.
Mark spent a three month period on loan with the Athies in 2018 making fourteen starting appearances, notching three goals and became in that short time a firm favourite with the fans.
Now 22 years of age, Mark began his career as a youth team prospect with home town team Hamilton Accies.
He moved on to the Parkhead Youth Academy in 2012. In the ensuing years, he went on to represent Scotland at both Under 17 and Under 19 level on fifteen occasions in total.
He had a short spell on a temporary transfer to St. Mirren before his stint at Station Park, then headed again on loan to Charlotte Independence FC in the United States where he was a regular in their side competing in the USL Championship.
Mark returned to Celtic a year ago but was released in May of this year.
All going well and subject to all the various protocols being met and with the permission of the parent bodies, Mark will be part of a ‘Loons’ squad which will return to training on September 1st.
