Broughty next up for ‘Loons’
[Monday, 21 September 2020 14:51]
Following on from their 5-2 success over Carnoustie Panmure on Saturday, Tuesday night’s opponents for Stuart Malcolm and his players will again be from the ranks of the East Region Juniors.
Broughty Athletic will be the visitors to Station Park on this occasion for a 7.45 p.m. kick-off.
Sadly we have to emphasise again that the fixture will be played strictly behind closed doors.
The Whitton Park side managed by Jamie McCunnnie will be playing their third pre-season fixture having already defeated St. Andrews United 8-2 and a Dundee Development side 4-1 over the past week.
On both occasions, former Arbroath and Montrose striker Josh Skelly was in goal scoring form.
The ‘Loons’ manager has already intimated that he will ring the changes with the majority of the players who were on the bench on Saturday likely to be in the starting line-up.
As was the case on Saturday past, the Athies media team will keep fans up to date with score flashes on twitter, a full match report and picture gallery being provided on the website and Facebook page, while highlights of the game should be available courtesy of FAFCTV on Wednesday.
