‘Dons’ defender heads to Station Park

‘Loons’ manager Stuart Malcolm was a happy man at a rain-soaked training session at Station Park this morning when he was able to confirm the signing on a temporary transfer of 20 year Aberdeen defender Jack MacKenzie.

Jack whose favoured position is left-back is a product of both the Aberdeen Youth Academy and the SFA Performance Scholl at Hazlehead Academy.

He was one of the Pittodrie side’s substitutes in their victory over St. Mirren last night.

Jack trained with his new teammates this morning and goes straight into the pool for the visit to Dens Park on Tuesday evening.

The Athies hope to be able to announce a further loan signing prior to their opening Betfred tie.
