THANK YOU TO OUR CLUB AND KIT SPONSORS
[Friday, 27 August 2021 13:25]
Chairman, Scott Murdie, and Director Louise Taylor recently welcomed the Club’s kit and van sponsors to Station Park for a photoshoot to recognise the generous backing provided by the various companies.
In attendance were Kevin Golder and Stuart Fraser, Directors, of the main sponsor, Orchard Timber Products Ltd; former FAFC Chairman and good friend of the Club, Ross Graham, Managing Director, Graham Pest Control; Callum McKenna, Operations Director, Graham Hygiene Services; Paul Cortese, Commercial Director, Alpha Projects; Chris and Zoe Hunter, Hunters the Jewellers of Forfar; and Paul Ballie, Sales Manager, AM Philip Trucktech.
The sponsors met with Manager Gary Irvine, First Team Coach Gary Harkins, Club Captain Ross Meechan and players Grant Anderson, PJ Crossan, Marc McCallum, and Craig Slater for a series of photos.
As has been well documented, Orchard Timber Products Ltd, who have their HQ in the town, are in their sixteenth season as the main sponsor and this incredible loyalty to the Loons is hugely appreciated.
Also showing continued support are Blairgowrie based Graham Pest Control and Graham Hygiene Services. Graham Pest Control continues to be our short sponsor for a further year and support a range of other Club activities. Thank you to Ross for this support. Sister company Graham Hygiene Services are in the second year of sponsorship of the back of the playing kit, and we were delighted that Callum was able to attend the photoshoot.
Thanks also to Paul Cortese of Alpha Projects, the North East principal contractor firm, who joined as kit sleeve sponsor last season. We are very grateful for this support for a second season.
Last but not least on the shirt sponsor side of things are Hunters the award-winning jewellers based in the centre of Forfar. We are grateful to Chris and Zoe Hunter for signing up to sponsor the back (tail) of the playing shirts for the first time this season and indeed for their support into 2022/23.
Many supporters will have seen the new kit van around Station Park and on the road to matches. It is looking resplendent with the Forfar Athletic badge. This is thanks to Paul Baillie at yet another local firm, A M Phillip Trucktech. This support means that Kit Man Martin Gray can travel in style to training and matches!
Once again all at the Club would like to put on record the gratitude of Gary and his squad for the support provided by all the kit and van sponsors. As outlined in earlier posts the support shown by these companies and indeed all the businesses and individuals who have hoardings at Station Park or who have joined the Forfar Athletic Business Club are providing much needed and valued financial backing at this very challenging time for the Loons. Thank you also to the many business and individuals who give a range of valuable in-kind support to the Club in respect to work carried out at Station Park.
We also hope in the future, all going well on the covid front, to welcome back the many companies, families and groups of friends who sponsor matches, match balls, and enjoy matchday hospitality. This not only provides a boost to the Club’s coffers but also brings a real buzz to Station Park on match days. We cannot wait to welcome everyone back when the various covid protocols change to allow us to reclaim the lounges for their original purpose.
In the meantime, a huge thank you to everyone who is supporting the Loons this season. We simply could not continue to operate without this backing. Thank you!
