Forfar Athletic manager Gary Irvine was delighted last night as will, we are sure, all ‘Loons’ fans when Stefan McCluskey agreed terms and duly signed a one-year extension to his current contract meaning he will remain a Forfar Athletic player until at least the end of the 2022/3 season.
The 31-year-old midfield player has been a real hit with the home support since joining the club in early July of last year following a spell with Dumbarton, the sixth senior club the Hamilton-based player had plied his trade with.
To date, Stefan has made 17 starting appearances in competitive fixtures, plus three from the subs bench, netting eight goals in the process.
Stefan now becomes the ninth player in the current ‘Loons’ squad under contract for next season or beyond.
