Thank You

All connected with the ‘Loons’ were disappointed that despite a much improved second-half performance we ended up with no reward from our re-arranged fixture against Edinburgh City at Station Park last night.
A big thank you however has to be passed on to the supporters who made it to Station Park on the night, all 400 of you, an excellent turnout considering it was a bitterly cold Monday evening.
The backing the players received was also first class in the circumstances and a wee special mention to the younger element who populated the newly designated fans zone area in the west end of the south enclosure.
Thanks also to Scott and Dave Barn from D&A Factors our match sponsors for the fixture who have been great supporters of the club for more years than they probably care to remember.
Along with all three groups organised by Marc Gourlay, Lee Hutcheon and Jane Rae who had booked hospitality packages for the fixture they enjoyed good food and fine wine on Saturday afternoon, the big disappointment for all on the day the late postponement of the fixture.
Thankfully quite a few were able to return for the match action and a halftime cuppa last night, which was appreciated and the sponsors chose Matty Aitken as Forfar’s man of the match.
