Kyle Hutton joins the ‘Loons’

Forfar Athletic have completed the signing of Kyle Hutton following his second-half substitute appearance as a trialist in last night’s fixture with Edinburgh City.
Kyle who will celebrate his 31st birthday on Saturday began his senior career with Rangers making his first-team debut for the Ibrox club in 2010 going over to make over half a century of appearances before moving on in 2015.
During that five year stint at Ibrox, Kyle also had loan spells with Partick Thistle and Dunfermline Athletic.
He then made over 30 appearances for Queen of the South in a one-season stint at Palmerston in 2015/16.
Paisley was his next port of call and during the 2016/17 season with St. Mirren, he also had a short spell at Airdrie on a temporary transfer basis.
From there it was on to record nearly 100 competitive appearances for Dumbarton between 2017 and 2020, before heading to East Kilbride and latterly Cowdenbeath.
Kyle who also represented Scotland at under 19 and under 21 levels has penned an 18 month deal at Station Park and he will be in Gary Irvine’s pool for the visit of Albion Rovers on Saturday when he will hope to celebrate his birthday with a three-point haul.
