‘Loons’ manager Gary Irvine has this afternoon completed a deal which sees 19-year-old Aberdeen winger Kevin Hanratty move to Station Park on a season-long temporary transfer.
Kevin is a graduate of the AFC Youth Academy and has represented Scotland at the Under 16 and Under 17 levels and is currently on contract at Pittodrie until the summer of 2024.
He signed his first professional form for Aberdeen in 2019 at the same time as Calvin Ramsay who recently headed south of the border to Anfield.
Towards the end of the 2021/2 season, he had a short loan spell with Cove Rangers.
Last season he was farmed out firstly to Highland League outfit Formartine United, before moving north to Elgin City in January.
Aberdeen Pathways Manager Neil Simpson is confident Kevin will make a big impression at Station Park and he goes straight into the Athies squad for the visit of Dunfermline Athletic tonight.
