Sportsman’s Dinner – Sold Out

The Forfar Athletic Directors are delighted to announce that the sold-out sign has been posted for the eagerly awaited return of the Sportsman’s Dinner due to be staged in the Strathmore Hall on Friday 16^th September.

It will be the first event of this nature that the club have been able to stage since May of 2019 and will be the 25^th staged by the ‘Loons,’ the first back in 1996.

The numbers have been achieved despite the change of venue due to the continued unavailability of the Reid Hall and the then necessity of a move from the normal late Spring date to early Autumn.

The Dinner will in fact be attended by a slightly increased number of patrons than has been the case in past due to the size of the premises adjacent to Station Park, but the optimum number the organisers can cater for on the night has been reached.

Those in attendance will hopefully as ever be royally entertained by speakers George McNeill and John Stiles with Rodger Brunton returning in his role as compere.

The hunt is now on for suitable items for the Auction and also raffle prizes.
