Tour de Angus Cycle Fundraising Event

A huge congratulations to our 15 cyclists who have now completed the 50 mile route around Angus visiting local football grounds at Brechin, Montrose and Arbroath. A fairly “easy” ride out to Brechin then onto Montrose was followed by some testing hills at Ferryden and the cycle route coast road to Arbroath. After having the wind in their favour most of the route they were then faced with a tough headwind back to Forfar. 

Huge credit to all our cyclists taking part the event and supporting the Club, and for making it back to Station park in plenty time for some well deserved drinks. 

Thanks also to Club Director John Milne for organising the event to help raise funds for the Loons.
