Young Hearts striker joins ‘Loons’ on loan

Forfar Athletic manager Gary Irvine has boosted his squad with the acquisition on a temporary transfer at present till the end of the year of 19 year old striker Jaden Ferguson from Hearts.

Jaden, who is a Dundonian was involved with the Celtic Academy for some number of years before injury ruled him out of the game for a  period.

He returned to ’active service’ with Lochee United last season and was a regular on the score sheet for George Shield’s Midlands Junior League outfit.

That form for the Thomson Park side saw him get a second ‘bit of the cherry’ so to speak when he moved to Tynecastle in June and he has been plying his trade with the Hearts ‘B’ side in the Lowland League so far this term.

However the management team at the ‘Jambos’ have decided his career advancement could be speeded up by a period out on loan and hopefully a spell at Station Park will be of benefit to all parties.

Jaden goes straight into the ‘Loons’ squad for the visit of Stirling Albion on Saturday.
