Thanks again

Firstly a big thank you to the loyal Forfar Athletic supporters who gave excellent backing to the management and players in yesterday’s tussle with Bonnyrigg Rose as the Ray McKinnon era got underway at Station Park in almost spring-like conditions at Station Park.

Disappointingly despite a much-improved performance on the park that elusive home victory was snatched from our grasp at the death but we will fight on with a visit to top-of-the-table Dumbarton on the cards this coming Saturday.

Our next and amazingly last home game of the calendar year is scheduled for December 3^rd when Albion Rovers will be the visitors.

Thanks also to Fred Stephen and his family who were the match sponsors yesterday, at the same time celebrating son Paul an FAFC Director’s 50^th birthday.   All seemed to enjoy their afternoon and you don’t look 50, Paul!

A thank you is also extended to Chris Hunter of Hunters the Jewellers, Ian Shepherd of Andrew Shepherd Construction, Ian Nicoll and Dave Smith. They entertained parties in the four hospitality lounges, each contributing to an excellent atmosphere within.
