Thank You

Thankfully there were quite a few smiling faces heading home from Station Park yesterday as Ray McKinnon extended his unbeaten run as manager in league fixtures to three, the 1-0 win over Albion Rovers well merited and so welcome.
It has been mentioned often in these columns over the past few weeks how pleased club officials have been with the fact that despite our trials and tribulations this term to date the ‘Loons’ fan base have in the main stuck solidly behind the players and this was evident once again yesterday from the very first minute.
Thanks to all.
A special thank you as well to yesterday’s match sponsor local painter and decorator Lee Hutcheon. Lee is a great supporter of the ‘Loons’ cause in so many ways and it was good to see that his party seemed to thoroughly enjoy their day.
Craig Slater not for the first time this campaign was the sponsor's choice as their Man of the Match.
Thanks also to Bob Myles for organising his group of friends from throughout the county who occupied both the Doug Houston and Stewart Kennedy lounges. It was good to see many of the ‘auld’ faces returning and a few new ones to boot.
D&A Factors our shirt sleeve sponsors who also support the Athies in many other directions had a party in the Archie Knox Lounge as part of their overall and greatly appreciated sponsorship deal they struck with the club this term.
Thanks to Scott and Dave Barn for their continued backing and we look forward to their return early in the New Year as the match sponsor on that occasion.
Club legend Ian McPhee and his golfing pals from Perth returned for the first time in three years thanks to covid etc and it was great to welcome them back and again thanks for your generous backing and trust all got home safely.
Finally, Pauline Lindsay and party took advantage of the 1984 Lounge package and again all seemed to enjoy the experience and thanks for the support.
By a twist of the fixture card, our next home game is not until January 2nd, but hopefully Craig and his colleagues can bring some pre-Christmas cheer to all by picking up a few points at Ochilview and Forthbank over the next two Saturdays prior to a wee break over the Christmas weekend itself.
