Ray wins January Manager of the Month Award

It will come as little surprise to Forfar Athletic supporters that Ray McKinnon is the recipient of the Glen’s Vodka January League2 Manager of the Month Award.
It was a month in which the ‘Loons shot up the cinch league2 table recording three victories, one of them against table toppers Dumbarton.

Ray was delighted when news of the award was released to the club last week prior to the official announcement today.

However he was especially keen to emphasise that the award was recognition for all the hard work put in since his arrival at Station Park by his backroom staff and the playing staff which resulted in the trio of superb results and importantly excellent on field performances as 2023 dawned.

The next match ‘curse’ of winning the award is also thankfully passed as Ray and the squad knew of it prior to the Stenhousemuir fixture.
