Forfar Athletic v Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic
[Monday, 17 April 2023 22:06]
The ‘Loons’ will look to bounce back from a disappointing performance, one of the very few it has to be said in recent times when Bonnyrigg Rose are the visitors to Station Park on Saturday first.
A victory over Robbie Horn’s side who currently sit ninth in the table, two point above Albion Rovers will keep the Athies very much in the race for a coveted playoff spot.
In fact, if that win can be achieved by the home side, it will be their first success of the season against the league newcomers.
Rose triumphed at New Dundas Park on the opening day of the season, 1-1 draws the order of the day in the other two contests between the sides, with Bonnyrigg equalising late in the game on both occasions.
In their last home fixture, the victory over Albion Rovers, the ‘Loons’ recorded a victory that confirmed their SPFL status following a great run of results since the new management team arrived in November of last year.
All involved at Station Park live in hope that a few extra fans might make the effort as the season draws to a conclusion to come along this Saturday to lend their support to a squad who now have another major target to aim for with three league games remaining.
A full preview of the match will appear on our social media channels later in the week.
