‘Loons’ announce another signing

Forfar Athletic supporters heading to tonight’s Viaplay Cup tie at Station Park may see a new face on the subs bench following the signing this afternoon of 19 year old left sided midfield player Cameron Blacklock on a one year contract.

Cameron who is Dundee born and bred was a product of Dundee West FC.

He made the move to the Youth Academy at Dundee in 2018 signing his first professional contract with the Dens Park club in the summer of 2021.
Since then he made one appearance from the bench for the first team in a competitive fixture and had spells gaining experience on loan at Highland League Huntly as well as at Midland Junior sides Broughty Athletic, Lochee United and Dundee North End.

He was advised that he was being released by the ‘Dee’ in June and has been involved in training sessions with the Athies over the past few weeks.

A warm welcome to Station Park to Cameron who becomes the tenth Tayside based player in Ray McKinnon’s current squad.
