Scottish Gas Scottish Cup – 2nd Round Draw

The draw for the second round of this season’s Scottish Gas sponsored Scottish Cup will take place this coming Sunday afternoon at 5p.m.
It will be available to view on the Scottish Cup YouTube channel.
By that time 29 of this weekend’s 30 first round ties will have been completed.
The University of Stirling v Albion Rovers clash is scheduled for Monday evening and is being televised live on the BBC Scotland channel.
At the second round juncture, Forfar Athletic along with the other nine cinch league2 clubs enter the fray, so Sunday’s draw will be of great interest to ‘Loons’ officials, players and supporters.
The twenty ties will be played over the weekend of 27th/30th October.
There is local interest in Saturday’s first round clashes. Neighbours Brechin City entertain fellow Highland League outfit Rothes, while Midlands Junior outfit Tayport welcome Buckie Thistle to the Canniepart.
Perthshire based East of Scotland sides Jeanfield Swifts and Luncarty both head north to meet Wick Academy and Keith respectively.
