Rory on International Duty

Rory MacLeod the 17 year old forward currently on loan to the ‘Loons’ from parent club Dundee United until January is spending the week in Murcia in South East Spain as part of a 20 man Scotland Under 19 squad who are preparing for a Euro 2024 qualifying tournament due to take place next month.
The young Scots under the stewardship of Billy Stark played against the Republic of Ireland today losing 2-0 and they then play Portugal on Sunday at the renowned Pinetar Arena Complex.
Serbia, Bulgaria and Andora will be Scotand’s opponents in next month’s qualifiers as they battle it out for a place in the finals due to take place in Northern Ireland in early summer of next year.
Rory has already represented his country on eighteen occasions, six at under 16 level, ten at under 17 level and twice previously at the under nineteen age grouping.
