Forfar Athletic v Elgin City
[Tuesday, 09 January 2024 13:12]
The ‘Loons’ play the first of three successive home cinch league2 fixtures on Saturday first when Elgin City pay their second visit of the season to Station Park, the first having ended in a goalless draw.
This time round utilising the old cliché, it is a real ‘six pointer.
As the Athies fought hard with a depleted side to no avail at the end of the day against league leaders Stenhousemuir on Saturday past, Elgin were recording their second home victory in seven days, two goals from the penalty spot clinching victory against Stranraer.
That meant that City went a point above Forfar at the wrong end of the table, with a game in hand.
Both sides will therefore be ready for a battling ninety minutes this weekend, the kick-off as usual at 3p.m.
Admission prices are as follows;-
Stand – Adults £15, concessions £9, under 16’s £5
Terracing - Adults £14, concessions £8, under 16’s £5
Payment is by cash at the turnstile only.
Forfar Athletic season tickets are of course valid for this fixture.
The Refreshment Kiosk and Club Shop both situated within the ground will be open as usual.
The 1984 Lounge will be open to all supporters from 12.30p.m. till kick-off and again on the final whistle till approximately 8p.m.
A full preview of the fixture will appear on FAFC social media channels on Friday.
