Thanks Again

Relief was undoubtedly the key word at Station Park come 5 pm yesterday with victory over East Fife ensuring the club’s status as an SPFL club, at the same time meaning that all can hopefully relax and enjoy another success in what will now definitely be our last home game of the season when Stranraer are the visitors on Saturday first.
After a relatively insipid first half showing the players watched on the day from the Directors Box by ‘Loons’ legend Archie Knox deserves great credit for a real battling and energetic second half performance no doubt after a few strong words during the interval from the management team which brought just rewards.
Behind the scenes a big thank you to Ryan Todd of Todd Joinery our match sponsors on the day.
Ryan has been of great assistance to the club throughout the season and it was great to see his party enjoying their afternoon with us, of that there was no doubt!
They chose not surprisingly two-goal hero Russell McLean as their man of the match.
Thanks also to Lee Hutcheon and his mates who occupied both the Doug Houston and Stewart Kennedy lounges and also seemed as ever to enjoy the delights of the Station Park Hospitality Experience.
Lee personally is another who assists the club in so many ways over the course of the season.
Our thanks as well to Graeme Campbell and his friends who enjoyed their day in the Ian McPhee Lounge and to Forfar ‘exile’ Colin Anderson, family and friends who were entertained in the Archie Knox Lounge.
Finally thanks to Iain Hedley another exiled ‘Loon’ and his group three of whom had travelled as had Iain from Berkshire for the occasion for their support of the 1984 Lounge package.
Onwards to this coming weekend and let’s hope we can end the home campaign by rewarding the fan base who have remained so loyal and supportive throughout with a second successive league win for the first time this season.
