HUTCHINSON AGREES CONTRACT EXTENSION
[Thursday, 16 May 2024 19:00]
Manager Ray McKinnon is delighted to confirm that Adam Hutchinson has agreed a contract extension to extend his stay by atleast another season.
Adam’s signature comes on the back of Stuart Morrison signing extended terms and, though obviously thrilled to get Stuart’s contract talks ‘put to bed,’ the manager is also so pleased to get Hutchi signed up for another term.
Adam made his ‘Loons’ debut back in the mid winter of 2023, the now 21 year old central defender arriving at that stage of his career on loan from Dundee United with whom he had been associated since the age of eleven.
Upon his release from the Tannadice set up last season, Adam quickly agreed to a permanent move to Station Park.
He subsequently made thirty-two starting appearances for the Athies, as well as three from the bench in the course of the season, only injury preventing him from more and once he settled into the change to a part time regime, he was undoubtedly one of the most consistent players in the match day squad.
Hopefully his career will continue to blossom in a Sky Blue shirt.
Ray would also like to pay tribute to Andy Munro following the news that broke late yesterday about his departure from the club in the main due to family commitments, thank him for his service and kind words about the club and wish him well for the future.
Some great news today for the ‘Loons’ faithful, no doubt about that and hopefully more to come alongside confirmation of another departure or two, always inevitable at this time of the year in the next few days.
